Blank interviews chefs, garlic lovers, and historians about the their love of the 'stinking rose.'Often referred to as a stinking rose, garlic, in its culinary uses, generally evokes a love it or hate it response. Quite often, these responses are on cultural lines, where old world cultures have generally revered it in their cooking, while new world cultures have not. A renaissance of sorts is taking place in the use of garlic in the United States, with more and more immigrants bringing their use of the spice to the country, with more people desiring more spice in their food, with a desire to get back to the land and with the production of plant a large part of the Central California landscape. Many chefs are presented preparing dishes prominently featuring the spice. On the bad side, the association of garlic to bad breath is discussed. On the other side, its purported health benefits are also discussed. Other topics presented include its association to vampirism, and speculation of how people will want their garlic to be presented to them in the future.

回复 :过气香港拳王程辉（张家辉 饰），在拳坛没落后，沉迷赌博，负债累累，为躲避追债人，逃亡澳门。在合租房中，程辉遇到了一对母女，这名母亲（梅婷 饰），患有精神病，小女孩（李馨巧 饰）不但要上学还要照顾妈妈。程辉和小女孩很投缘，两人时常扮成小动物，排演小品，逗小女孩的妈妈开心。与此同时，富二代林思齐（彭于晏 饰）遭遇家庭变故，他的父亲（高捷 饰）生意失败，变得一无所有，整日在酒吧糜烂。为了鼓励落魄的父亲重新开始生活，林思齐报名参加了MMA。为此，他在一家拳击俱乐部报名，在这里，他认识了正在俱乐部打工的程辉，并拜他为师，学习拳击。经过几个月学习，林思齐在MMA中连胜几场，成为新拳王。随即，又遭遇了另一位高手（安志杰 饰）的挑战，林思齐负伤退赛。同时，追债人找到程辉，打斗中，不小心伤害了梅婷母女。为此，程辉深感内疚，不想再连累别人，便开始重新训练综合格斗技能，希望在MMA中赢得比赛，得到奖金偿还赌债。在MMA中，程辉以四十多岁的高龄挑战拳击，不被人看好。而他遭遇的对手，正是打败徒弟林思齐的新拳王安志杰……

回复 :根据英国文豪狄更斯着名的小说《圣诞颂歌》改编，加上了现代的电视台背景和热闹非凡的特技镜头，变成一部具有警世效果的贺节喜剧。比尔．默里在片中饰演个性凉薄的电视台大亨弗兰克，一切唯利是图，为了提高节目收视率，就是哧死观众也在所不惜。就在耶诞节前夕，已经死了七年的老板拖着腐朽的身躯回来警告弗兰克，并预告他将有三名不速之客来访，包括带他巡访旧时生活和未来际遇的计程司机，带领他分亨亲情与爱情的小仙女，在电视现场扮演鬼魂的吓人妖怪。在这三个鬼魂的引导下，弗兰克终于明白了圣诞节的真谛。导演理查德．唐纳的手法虽有点夸张，但精彩的特技和男主角的喜感演出仍然吸引观众。
