在都市的青少年中，玛雅流传着这样一个传言：玛雅只要在深夜零时登录“地狱通信”，将所怨恨人的名字写下来，且你的怨恨达到了可以委托的程度，地狱少女就会出现并交付你稻草人。一旦解开稻草人身上的红线，地狱少女就会立即把你怨恨的人带入地狱。不过，害人终害己。当你解开红绳，你自己的灵魂也会在死后坠入地狱。
