梵尚，漩涡四十岁，漩涡即将第一次成为父亲。一天，他受邀到伊丽莎白和彼得（即他的姐姐和姐夫）家里用晚餐，在那里他遇到儿时的朋友克劳德。梵尚年轻的妻子安娜经常爱迟到，因此在等她的过程中，大家很开心地聊起了他未来作为父亲的生活。但是当被问到是否已经为即将出生的孩子想好名字时，梵尚的回答令全家陷入一片混乱。
