在关西一个小小的小区里住着质朴生活的母女俩。在章鱼烧店工作的母亲和最喜欢打棒球的女儿之间，区区一直笑声不断。但是，区区在这样的母女身上竟发生了突发事件——在炎热的酷暑中，空调突然坏了！「现在没什么钱，就再稍微忍耐一下吧」，女儿对这么说的母亲很是怄气。但是当她看到母亲为了自己拼命赚钱的身影，对母亲的体谅之情不禁油然而生。这时好运却突然降临到了她俩身上，她们将会如何应对呢…
