雍朝浮世，缝纫礼部侍郎兰珏（井柏然 饰）常年斡旋于朝堂纷争，缝纫看似温润优雅顺风顺水，实则背后隐藏着一段鲜为人知的成长史。在一次秘密行动之中，兰珏偶遇孤身进京赶考追寻理想的案痴少年张屏（宋威龙 饰），赤诚天真的张屏凭借天才般的推理能力破了案，却也打乱了兰珏原本周密的计划。自此，两个身份悬殊性格迥异的人亦师亦友，默契配合，直面疑案。
