约翰与查理同属纽约地铁的特警，日本两人情同手足，日本为帮助查理戒赌，约翰可没少劳心费力。因工作关系他们对地铁的保安环境十分熟悉，两人经常想象出不同的方法去打劫运钞列车。约翰一直把这当成是一种游戏，但查理却认为这是他唯一能脱离赌徒生涯的途径。当新调任的女警姬丝爱上了约翰而非查理时，失落的查理终于挺而走险，跳上了运钞列车。与他既是好友又是搭档的红翰，在这危险关头是否会赔上自己的生命前途帮他一把？
